The Sens Foundation proudly supports minor hockey associations in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec through 50/50 draws that take place during Ottawa Senators home games.
To participate in the Sens Foundation 50/50 program, minor hockey groups must be located in Eastern Ontario or Western Quebec and able to provide 25 volunteers at 11 Senators home games.
Participation
Eligible groups must apply directly to the Sens Foundation by filling out an application form and submitting it by Friday, July 3 at 5pm. Each group selected to participate must sign a participant agreement with the Sens Foundation.
Guidelines
- Participating charitable organizations must supply 25 volunteers on the 11 allocated game nights. Volunteer will be responsible for selling tickets and reconciling their cash. More details will be provided if your organization is selected to participate.
- Volunteers must arrive 2 hours and prior to the start of the game and will be expected to work until the third period, for a total commitment of approximately 5 hours.
- All sellers must be 18 years of age or older.
The 50/50 program takes place at all Senators home games. The tickets are 3 of $5 and 7 for $10. The 50/50 winner gets half of total sales and, depending on how much the total gross sales are for each evening each charitable group will be paid per volunteer. Please see below for the payment scale. Charitable participants have the opportunity to raise up to $14,000 through this fundraising opportunity.
