Take the President’s Challenge!
It’s not too late to accept the challenge, help families in our communities, and then enjoy one of the hottest tickets in town! For the past two years Ottawa Senators President and CEO of the Year Roy Mlakar, along with his wife Tamera, has issued a challenge to supporters of Roger’s House. Raise $2,500 before the end of August, and receive an invitation for two to attend the President’s Party being held Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the fabulous Casino du Lac Leamy.
Up to 150 guests, including some of your Ottawa Senators, will be treated to a private and exclusive cocktail party featuring a once-in-a-lifetime musical performance by one of Canada's top musical artists, Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo. Jim, returning once again as the featured artist for this event, will be joined by Anne Lindsay, one of the most engaging and versatile violin/fiddle instrumentalists in Canada.
For guests who might like to "get-a-way" for the entire evening and enjoy more of what the Casino du Lac-Leamy has to offer, the Sens Foundation has secured a block of 25 rooms and Sunday brunch at the 4-star Hilton Lac Leamy Hotel. For only $225, guests will have an opportunity to spend the night in luxury accommodations and wake up to enjoy a lovely brunch for two at Arôme Seafood and Grill restaurant from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m..
Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in the “Sens Slot Challenge” with one winner taking away a $2,500 gift certificate from Jubilee Fine Jewellers.
