Since 2004, Rogers Sportsnet has teamed up with the Sens Foundation to present the Roger’s House Telethon. The 7th Annual Sens Foundation Telethon for Roger's House, is presented by CN and will take place Tuesday, March 16 beginning at 6:30 p.m. prior to the Battle of Ontario.

Rob Faulds of Sportsnet and Leanne Cusack of CTV Ottawa serve as hosts for the evening.  More than 100 volunteers, corporate sponsors, Scotiabank Place employees and supporters make the telethon possible each year! The broadcast will introduce viewers to some of the children and families that count on Roger’s House to provide them with the best care possible during a very difficult time.

Tune in and meet:

Chris Harkness who gives Honourary Chair Mike Fisher a tour of Roger’s House

Zoey and her new brother Oliver, adopted last year, by mother’s Missy and Sue, who now care for two palliative children.

Roger’s House, the charity of choice of the Sens Foundation, provides a comprehensive pediatric respite and palliative care program with elements of outreach, residential hospice, pain and symptom management; grief and bereavement counselling, and research. Since opening its doors in May 2006, Roger’s House has had more than 900 admissions. Children and youth are invited to come to Roger’s House for support, care and assessment by the specialized team of medical professionals. Immediate family can stay in the facility to receive support and education, with the goal of fostering quality of family life.

Many opportunites exist to pledge your support to Roger’s House and help make a difference for these children and their families which come from all over eastern Ontario and western Quebec.
